Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad was established in 2008. It is currently taking care of the worship, renovation & development of Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, the most ancient temple in Hyderabad.
It houses a Swayambhu (self-manifest) Deity of Lord Narasimha in a standing posture with His consort Sri Lakshmi Devi and a Deity of Lord Shiva known as Panchajanya Ishwara. Lord Narasimha, who originally appeared in a fierce mood to protect His devotee Prahlada Maharaj, appears blissful here. He carries the Sudarshana Chakra in His right hand and a conch shell in the left. Mother Lakshmi Devi is mercifully showing Her abhaya hasta and blessing all the devotees who come here to take darshan of the divine couple.
There is also a Gaura Nitai temple here with the Deities of Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga and Srila Prabhupada. These Deities were installed on the auspicious day of Gaura Purnima on March 8th, 2012.
