The Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Mandir of Hare Krishna Movement – Jaipur is located in Jagatpura, Jaipur. Srila Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON had expressed his desire in his letter in 1975 for the construction of a beautiful Krishna Balarama temple in Jaipur.
In order to carry out his desire, Hare Krishna Movement, Jaipur began the divine task of building the temple in December 2010 and the new temple was inaugurated on April 28, 2012. The special feature of the temple is a seven-foot Sudarshana chakra installed on top of the temple structure, which is not usually seen in other temples of India.
Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Mandir provides a golden opportunity to every devotee of Jaipur city and the surrounding locations to purify his consciousness and easily progress on the spiritual path.

Special activities of the temple
Satsang Program: It is a program meant to enhance one’s spiritual knowledge and devotional practice by way of devotee association. In the association, devotees sing bhajans, understand different spiritual subject matters through discussions, perform arati and honor prasadam.
Krishna Ashraya: It is a home-based program intended for the spiritual development of householders. Devotees, by participating in this program learn how to execute devotional service and also try to understand the teachings of Srila Prabhupada. Bhajans, chanting Hare Krishna mantra, hearing the pastimes of the Lord, worshipping the Lord, and prasadam distribution are the activities included in Krishna Ashraya.
FOLK (Friends Of Lord Krishna): This is an exclusive program to systematically educate and enlighten the youth about practicing spiritual life for the all-round development of the practitioner. Many lively and inspirational sessions are held on weekends where youngsters discover the real purpose of the human form of life and get solutions to all the challenging problems encountered by them in their day-to-day dealings. In short, this program imparts to them true knowledge based on the Vedic scriptures and gives guidance on practically applying it in their lives.
Akshaya-Kalewa: Under this initiative, the Hare Krishna Movement provides evening meals to over 6000 people every day at a nominal charge of Rs. 5 per meal. The actual cost of each meal is Rs. 16. There are 30 centers in Jaipur city where these healthy and balanced meals are served to thousands of poor people of different occupations in the society.
Ongoing projects
Construction of Radha Krishna Cultural Center and Temple, that would be an important place for the study of Indian culture and civilization, is in progress. The foundation stone laying ceremony of the same was performed in September 2009.
